A beautiful sunny day began with a loving dedication to friend, handler, Billy Rossi.  My thanks to dedicated President, Emily St. Hilaire and her crew for a great job and lovely showgrounds.  It must have been sable day because Winners Dog, Bitch and Best Puppy were all sables.  The quality in dogs and bitches was excellent.  The dogs I put up excelled on their easy gait, with a loose leash and good toplines in motion and good temperaments.

6-9 Puppy Dogs, Best Opposite Sex Puppy

1 - Carmar's Piece of the Rock - Sundown's Flying Solo x Pineledge's Love Letters  Two nice puppies in this class.   A nice black and tan puppy,  good male head and a very nice front extension with rear follow through.  Carried a nice topline on a loose leash.  Nice smooth sidegait

12 - 18 Dogs, Winners Dog

1 - Lamar of Mardon - Ch. Asgard's Big Deal of Encore x Mardon's Mariah Carey - This was one of the best classes of the day.  A very handsome richly pigmented sable  with a ground covering sidegait.  He kept his topline on a loose leash . High withered and strong driving rear with  good front extension.  He is masculine, and has a wonderful mind.   This is an outstanding young dog, I wish I owned him.

Open Dogs, Reserve Winners Dog

1 - Malibu's Gator v Kenlyn - TR's Jaeger v Kenlyn x Sheerdeens Monique - A handsome bi color with a good topline in motion.  He has a high withers and long neck.  He looks better when moving at a nice easy gait.  Good front extension with a very nice rear follow through.  He has a good mind.  A young dog that looked immature for Open, but being Canadian bred, he could not go into a younger class.

Winners Dog - Lamar of Mardon - Truly an exciting youngster with a great future.  I loved him the minute he walked into the ring.  He has all the attributes of a winner.

Reserve Winners Dog -  Malibu's Gator v Kenlyn - Very promising youngster, perfect mind and beautiful side gait.  When he is fully matured, I believe he will be a knockout.

6 - 9 Puppy Bitches, Best Puppy

Very nice class of puppy bitches
1 - Mystra-Blackforests Joey - Ch. Schokrest Presidio x Blackforest Taize Mielikki - A very pretty sable with good forehand and rear follow through. She is feminine with good bone,  good back  and  has nice pigment.  Outgoing temperament.

American Bred Bitches, Winners Bitch, Best of Winners

She moved effortlessly, slow or fast .  A long striding bitch with great extension and carried her beautiful outline on a loose leash.   Sound coming
and going.

Open Bitches, Reserve Winners Bitch

2 - Rallyn's Questa of Biharis - Ch. Bertalan's Arcturus - Rallyn's
Mississippi - Have to mention this very  typey dark black and tan bitch who pressed  #1.  She is balanced in movement, travels close to the ground and looks good on a loose leash as well.  She extended well and got better as she went.   I really liked this bitch, too.

Winners Bitch, Best of  Winners  - Eko-Lans Havoc v Merivem - She won on her beautiful extension, long stride, outline in motion and cleaner coming, and going.

Reserve Winners Bitch - Aramests' Ivana of Kolbrook -  A quality bitch and exciting mover and pretty breed type.  She has very good ring presence.

Best of Breed

Ch. Winsome Fettucini v Cypress - Winsomes Albear Einstein - Falona DJ Vom Fairfield She is poetry in motion at any speed.  A gorgeous black and tan bitch, feminine, long neck sloping into a perfect layback of shoulder giving her the extension in forehand.  A hard driving rear  follow through completes her picture in motion  Sound coming and going,  Would like to have sent her around the ring several more times, to watch her gait.

Best of  Opposite Sex

Ch. Sea Crest O'Malley - Ch. Arbeiter's Set Me Free x Issis of Sea Crest - You would never believe this dog is 8 years old by his exuberance in motion.  He has a good forehand and the rear drive of a young dog.  Perfect mind, and in beautiful condition.  I had given this dog his Futurity win and a 5 point major in his youth, with the incomparable Billy Rossi at the helm. He never forgot how to show and you could see the delight in his eyes.  Truly a quality animal.

Best of Winners
Eko-Lan's Havoc v Merivern - (critique above)
